The almost-red-carded Kieran Gibbs is included due to he’s the only left-back available on the team. Maybe shacky at defence but pacey, we’ll need that to match Rossi. Song recent form should be enough for wenger to start with him tomorrow. He is important in containing the likes of playmaker mati fernandez and ibagaza.

Yep, 4-4-2 is the best tactical option since we’re stuck at 1-1 agregate. I expect Ade and RVP to get more support from the brilliant Cesc, pacey walcott and tricky nasri (if only arshavin is available…sigh).

So the card is with Arsenal, let win this Gunners!

The knock on effect might just banish some complacency amongst certain squad members. If they don’t and, as expected, we lose then what are you going to do? Support another club? Give up on football? Of course you’re not, you know that if we lose to United, if we lose to Villa, if we lose 4th spot and end up in the UEFA Cup, you will still come back for more. You chose this team and you’re stuck with them. Such is the skewed logic of the football fan, that I actually find that sense of imprisonment quite comforting in difficult times.

So, after reading from this article, I would like to retract my previous statement that I would jump to other ship given that arsenal lose again. No, I wouldn’t do that. I’ll keep bashing poor performance but not the team and its glorious history.

Remember my previous post about learning from movies, well here is a great lesson from Tropic Thunder.

Well, here’s the jist from the script above (well it’s my opinion). Jangan jadi bodoh atau nampak bodoh sampaikan orang boleh notice. First impression. Kalo awal-awal dah tunjuk bodoh, melekat la sampai bile-bile.

Let’s reflect this lesson to the current situation:

…at the eleventh hour

Guess what? Today is 28th October 2008 and today is also 28 Syawal 1429. (note that Syawal is the tenth month in Islamic calender).

Nothing about the similarities. Just about how time have past real fast. Den ghaso baghu jo den balik daghi negagho kangaru tu. Baghu yo masuk unikl ni. Tup tup, minggu dopan exam wei! Humang aih, memang copek tak tekigho ah.

…and having said that, the exam is just around the corner. Walaupun den ghaso den punyo coursework dah full (atau hampir full) den ghaso semacam yo nak poie exam. Trauma amek exam kat pavillion adelaide kot.

Dongan itu den nak mengucapkan selamat amek exam kek sumo yang amek exam, x kesah la spm ko, amek lesen ko. Usaha dan tawakal. Jangan tawakal je, cam den buek taun lopeh. Kang sakit kepalo memikir pehtu bedaghah idung. Usaha tu kalo nak last minute buleh, tapi sile la buat as smart as it should be.

…eagle eye

Just had the chance to watch Eagle Eye yesterday. It was great, though the ending could’ve been better. I always learn something from movies (some people said Bridge of Terabithia sucks, but for me it got loads of morale values which we as human lack). Back to Eagle Eye. Shia LaBeouf has done it again (never had expected this f*cker from Even Stevens to be this good). His character as Jerry Shaw is somehow looks like another Sam Witwicky (Shia’s character in Transformers). The looser who saved the world.

Several things to ponder after watching this movie.

• Small mistakes could lead to a bigger one.
• Be exceptionally fit when you found there are loads of guns in your apartment, you’ll need to run and jump a lot after that.
• What if Bolehland has the intelligence like Aria. Surely all those who are corrupted will die through its Operation Guillotine
• The movie unexpectedly recreated the scene of poor decision making by the US
• There is someone who watch you. Always. And you (yup, the one who read this) knew yourself.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Assalamualaikum

Di pagi hari raya ini, aku ingin mengucapkan selamat hari raya aidilfitri kepada semua rakan-rakan yang kenal akan aku. Ucapan ini juga khas ditujukan kat rakan-rakan seperjuangan di Adelaide. Tahun ini tiada dodol dari aku. Kepada rakan-rakan seperjuangan MIIT, lepas raya jangan terus enjoy, banyak presentation bulan ni. Kepada teman-teman di waktu persekolahan, aku dah balik bolehland, nape xleh nak contact korang. Maaf zahir dan batin.

Sekian, terima kasih kerana membaca ucapan berbaur luahan perasaan ini. Hahaha.
